Being Born Again Is More Than a New Beginning

Every person on earth experiences two births:

  • The Physical Birth: Our initial entry into this mortal world.

Baptism by immersion in water is the gateway to the covenant path. Through this sacred ordinance, we make promises with Heavenly Father to take upon ourselves the name of Jesus Christ.

However, water baptism alone is not only part of the rebirth process. The gift of the Holy Ghost completes that spiritual birth. The Holy Ghost acts as a sanctifier, purifying our hearts, guiding our choices, and giving us the spiritual strength to live as true disciples of Jesus Christ.
