What is faith?
1. Hebrews 11:1
“Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.”
2. 2 Corinthians 5:7
“For we walk by faith, not by sight.”
3. Romans 10:8–9
“But what does it say? ‘The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart.’ This is the word of faith we are proclaiming: If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”
How to grow your faith?
4. Romans 10:17
“So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.”
5. Hebrews 11:6
“But without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.”
6. James 2:17
“So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.”
